Binghamton and Stony Brook stand apart. They're the only SUNY campuses admitting fewer than half of applicants, and their middle-50% SATs start at 1330-1340. Most other campuses admit 60% to 80%, and several admit on a rolling basis with decisions soon after you apply.
Apply for free through November 2
During SUNY's Free Application Weeks, October 19 to November 2, 2026:
- On ApplySUNY, fees for the first five campuses on your application are waived automatically.
- On the Common App, you apply campus by campus and select "yes" for the fee waiver, for up to five SUNY schools.
SUNY also offers year-round fee waivers that it says apply to 60% of high school seniors, especially students at high schools with many free- and reduced-lunch recipients, students from low-income households, students in foster care and military-connected students.
