Indiana Pre-Admissions means many Indiana seniors already know where they can get in. This month, more than 76,000 seniors received letters listing the Indiana campuses they're pre-admitted to, based on GPA through junior year, SAT scores and/or diploma type. Separately, students who earn the new Enrollment Honors Plus Seal are guaranteed admission to all seven public universities. For Purdue and IU Bloomington, the key date is Nov. 1.
The details below are from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education's (CHE) Oct. 22, 2026 release and Purdue and IU's admissions pages.

Matching uses cumulative GPA through junior year, SAT score and/or diploma type. Final admission still requires an application and any extra steps a campus sets. Underclassmen get "Enrollment Ready" letters each fall; this year eighth graders got one too.
The Enrollment Honors Plus Seal guarantee
Students who graduate with the new Indiana Diploma with the Enrollment Honors Plus Seal get guaranteed admission to all seven Indiana public universities and several private ones. CHE says 627 students from 58 schools are on track this year. The new diploma was first available to students entering high school in fall 2025 and is required for the class of 2029.
At Purdue, the seal guarantee applies to West Lafayette and Indianapolis if you submit a complete application with an SAT, ACT or CLT score, by Nov. 1 of senior year (Purdue accepts up to Jan. 15 but strongly encourages Nov. 1). Purdue says Indiana residents without the seal are still fully considered and it doesn't expect the absence of the seal to hurt them.
