Medical School Selectivity Rankings

This ranks admitted-class selectivity, not a “best medical school” composite -- no federal or public dataset publishes a real per-school medical school admit rate, cost, or outcomes figure the way College Scorecard does for undergrad, so those don't exist here. Every score below is built from each school's own published entering-class MCAT and GPA medians, equal-weighted by default, with a slider to reweight it toward whichever number matters more to you. This is one honest dimension, not a hidden multi-factor formula.

This ranks medical schools' own admitted-class selectivity -- a different, more reliable number than an undergrad's own advertised pre-med acceptance rate, which is usually measuring a filtered, committee-supported pool rather than the whole pre-med class. Ranked on: published median (or average) MCAT and undergraduate overall GPA for each school's most recently reported entering class. A school missing either figure -- or publishing only a science/BCPM GPA, or only a bare range with no central value -- is excluded rather than scored on a partial formula.
